PBF Sports is a social sports organization based in Washington, DC that is dedicated to bringing people together through the power of sports. Our mission is to create a fun and inclusive environment where people of all skill levels can come together, make new friends, and build a sense of community while playing the sports they love.
At PBF Sports, we understand the importance of physical activity and the benefits it can have on both physical and mental health. We also recognize that sports have the unique ability to bring people together and foster strong relationships. That’s why we’ve made it our goal to create a social sports organization that not only promotes physical fitness, but also provides a sense of belonging and community for our members.
Our organization offers a wide variety of sports leagues and events throughout the year, including basketball, kickball, softball, flag football, and more. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a beginner, we have a league that’s right for you. We also host social events and outings outside of our sports leagues, so there’s always something fun and exciting happening at PBF Sports.
In addition to providing a fun and engaging sports experience, we are committed to giving back to our community. We partner with local charities and organizations to organize events and fundraisers that support important causes and make a positive impact in our community. What sports do you offer?
We offer a variety of sports such as flag football, basketball, kickball, golf, softball and more. We are always open to adding new sports based on demand and interest.
Do I need to have any prior experience to participate?
No, prior experience is necessary. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and cater to players of all levels.
How do I join a league?
It’s simple! First, select your league and desired sport. Click Register, and our system will guide you through the process. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at admin@pbfsports.com!
How do my friends and I join together?
Once you’ve found the league that best suits your interests, decide which of your friends will register as the group captain. After your group captain joins, they can send the group a direct link to register for the team!

I’m a solo player. Can I still join?
Of course! Free Agents are welcome to join any of our leagues! As a Free Agent, you’ll be placed on a team once registration has closed. You’ll receive more information about your team, schedule, and other necessary details before game day.
What is your refund policy?
By registering for a league with PBF Sports, you acknowledge and agree to the following refund policies.
PBF Sports has a strict no-refund policy for leagues, social events, practices, parties, outings, and virtual events such as Trivia, Bingo, or eSports Tournaments. This policy is in place because last-minute cancellations often hinder our ability to plan and organize the season and incur costs that the league has already committed.
If you are unable to participate after registering, we may transfer your registration to a future season. However, this is the only exception to our no-refund policy.
If a league is canceled due to a lack of player registration or venue issues, PBF Sports will offer alternative leagues for players to participate in. If you are unable to join the alternate league, a full refund will be provided, provided you respond to the cancellation email before the indicated deadline. If you fail to do so, your registration fee will be converted into a league credit.
In the event of league cancellations related to COVID-19, players will receive a prorated credit for any canceled dates, but no refunds will be issued.
Players or teams choosing not to participate in a league they registered for will not be issued refunds, but they may receive full site credit up to two weeks before the registration deadline. If it is within two weeks of the deadline, partial credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis.
Credits must be used during registration and may not be retroactively applied. Refunds will not be issued if a player moves, has a change in work schedule, or experiences any other non-league-related changes. PBF Sports will not refund players’ fees if they are injured during league play.
If games are postponed due to weather, facility issues, or any other reason, PBF Sports will make every effort to reschedule the games at the same location or on a non-league night of the week. If games cannot be rescheduled, players will receive a prorated credit for those games.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to admin@pbfsports.com.
What if I have a partial team?
No worries! You can still register your small group, and any team that doesn’t meet our minimum roster requirement will be merged with free agents or another small group to create a complete team.
What about the weather?
PBF Sports will ensure that games are played only under safe weather conditions, regardless of rain or shine. In case of cancellation or rescheduling, both your league manager and PBF Sports management officials will notify you before the scheduled start time.
If a game is interrupted due to weather or injury, we will make every effort to reschedule it and resume play from the point of stoppage. If rescheduling is not possible and the first half of the game has been completed, the score at the stoppage will be considered final.

Can I bring my own team?
Yes, you can bring your own team. Please check the specific league page for instructions on how to register your team.
Do you have any social events?
Yes, we have social events such as happy hours, end of and mid-season parties, and charity events. We organize social events and activities throughout the year to help build community and foster friendships. We encourage our players to socialize and build friendships on and off the field!
When are games played?
Games are typically played on weekday evenings and weekends.

Games are played at various locations throughout Washington, DC. We will provide you with information about the location when you register.
